bookworm July 15, 2010 elithesmithy Bookworm is a good game for any thinker. The premise is easy. Anyone that can spell a three-letter word can win at this game. The more words you learn, the better the scores. As your vocabulary grows, the more you score. The more you score, the more you want to play. The more a kid scores, the more a kid wants to learn so they can score more. Kids are competitive. They all want to be good at something, so they try to outdo everyone when they can. It's educational, fun, and easy for beginners to learn and be successful fast. You can't get better than that!
so much Fun July 9, 2010 Vern Playing Bookworm keeps your mind fresh and it gives you words you never new existed and it gives you the meaning of theses words. When I play, I don't realize how much time passes. It is just Fun to play.
conundrum June 2, 2010 James Dawson DeViney This game is fun if you like playing games with a dictionary close at hand. In order to gain the most points possible, you have to make the largest words you can possibly think of, (or not, that's what the dictionary is for). It does not take acronyms or proper names, but it will accept any other words. Again, unless your a brainchild then your going to find this game difficult if your going for the largest words possible. As for us 'normal' people, it's not a bad game, very challenging if you like word games.
Great time filler May 8, 2010 The Red Hat Girl (St. Louis , MO USA) If you want hours of fun, try this game. The only negative I have is sometimes it automatically ends a word when it could be longer. Lots of fun.
Bookworm addiction April 14, 2010 RMc (Livingston, TX USA) Bookworm was played on a trans Atlantic flight to London. This game made that flight normally of 2 movies 2 meals and a nap go by much quicker. A scrable, word search game easily played by any age. Purchased the game for multiple users and all have become addicted. Try it you will like it. It is a great challenge to keep your library from burning down. My wife, and her mother who just turned 90 have exceeded 400,000 points. Good fun as you can play and pause the game and go back and pick it up again.
