Fun but graphics not the best July 30, 2010 Labrador Puppy Lover (Salem, OR) This is a fun game, but the graphics could be better. Some of the choices of animals are limited if you get too many sad faces. Instead of choosing from a column, a globe of the world would be better.
love it July 12, 2010 patti anderson (MORGANTON, NC, US) so relaxing and keeps you on your toes. a great way to escape from a high pressure job when you go home. graphics are awesome. challenges---really are.
Excellent game for kids May 25, 2010 Naturalized in Chicago While we'll all get bored after a while managing animal moods, until then this game is fun and demands enough strategy to make it enjoyable for a chess player while kids can enjoy the nice graphics and sounds and learn to make strategic decisions.
I can't make this work, and it doesn't make sense. May 4, 2010 pinchi carlitos (el paso, tx, usa) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I just got this from Wal-Mart for $10. I install it, try to run it, and I just get a black screen. I go to the Task Manager, and find out that Zoo Tycoon is not responding, but Indeo Video Playback is. Between the two of them, I get nothing but black screen. I find a little window that tells me to go to a web site for an Indeo codec. The web site tells me I need to spend $15 for the codec. I don't want to watch a video, I want to play a game. I try killing it, but it keeps popping back up. I can't find any online support to tell me how to run the game without the video. All the Zoo Tycoon application does, apparently, is dump me into this video and, I guess, waits for it to finish. I would like to see what I could do without the video, but the game won't let me just play it. I deserve better, and Wal-Mart, who will be refunding my money, deserves better.

I used our first one until it wore out. My kids love it too, so I purchased one for me and other for my kids. Works for Windows 7. The kids are off to college and play this game on their own computers.
