 Save yourself a headache! DO NOT BUY! August 25, 2010

Spore Creator is a non-working game. It crashes and gives an error message stating there is a problem contacting the license server. The program won't open, and you can't get past this error screen without it closing down. We contacted Electronic Arts directly and this is what we were told via tech support live chat: "There is some problem is going on (sic), due to which customers are not able to register their game. Our engineers are working on this issue. I wish you will be able to register your game after some time." They had us uninstall and reinstall the game, and try again, which had exactly the same result.
We then asked how we could go about getting a refund for the product, but their reply was confusing. It seems like they want us to contact the warranty department at EA to obtain an unopened game which we would then return to the seller from Amazon.
This process has taken us hours and hours. You had to install all the updates (hours). Then, in our case, we had to uninstall the game manually (more hours) and reinstall (more and more hours) to prove that this game is not working (so now we have to spend hours uninstalling manually again). Save yourself a headache! Just don't buy this game no matter how much your kids plead you!

My 6 and 10 year old boys love this game. I've created a few creatures as well, it's fun and allows you to unleash your imagination and develop some basic computer graphics/design skills.

My daughter requested this game for her birthday! I loaded it on my iMac and it works perfectly! She has enjoyed it immensely. She has created many interesting creatures with it. I even created one and enjoyed it. The graphics are excellent.

If you're thinking of buying this don't. It's not an expansion pack, it's literally an ad that you pay for. It's not even a taste of the full version, just the creature creation portion. Heck, you can't even use it if you've already installed SPORE! I was tricked into getting SPORE and this, but now that's just money wasted. If you actually do want to play only the creature creation portion then here: this is the perfect game for you. Otherwise, avoid this product like the plague!

this was a fun game i bought while waiting for spore hero Wii this was a fun game and good for little kids and you ca ncreate many things whith this but it gets a little monotonous and needs a break taken every now and then. But for the aspiring spoer heroer It's good practice
